Publishing to WHERE user base

All widgets must be certified by WHERE before becoming accessible to the WHERE user base.

If you haven't yet completed your WHERE widget, we encourage you to contact us so that we can provide guidance on how to build a widget that will successfully pass the approval process. Please contact us at create@where.com.

The approval process takes into account several factors:

  • QA and design standards.
  • Appropriate content.
  • Adherence to consumer privacy guidelines.

If you are ready to begin certification, here's a quick checklist:

  • Did you test your WHERE application on an actual handset? (If not, contact us to see if you are eligible for a handset loan or outsourced assistance with QA.)
  • Do you have a consistent navigation including a 'Back' arrow in the footer for the left soft-key?
  • Have you tested the performance of your WHERE application, keeping in mind the often slow network times of mobile handsets?

If you are ready to publish, please send an email to create@where.com with the following information:

  • Name
  • Website
  • Name of widget
  • Unique tag of widget
  • Explanation of why your widget would be valuable for WHERE consumers
