Create location-based widgets for the iPhone.
The WHERE™ iPhone application was included in the initial launch of the App Store, and we are now inviting developers to create widgets on WHERE for iPhone.
Use only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
As a WHERE iPhone developer, you can quickly and easily create widgets that tap into the iPhone's native functionality. In addition, developers gain access to a range of features built in to our platform such as tile-based mapping, location sharing, and more.

If you think you have a great idea for a location-based iPhone widget and would like to become a WHERE iPhone Developer, contact us at create@where.com.
Members of our developer community have already created iPhone widgets.
The SkyMap is a project by Mediated Spaces, Inc. which gives the user a view of the current sky from their location, highlighting constellations and celestial objects. Their version built on WHERE for standard handsets was the grand prize winner of our Spring 2008 Developer Contest and this iPhone version was included in our initial launch of the iPhone WHERE application.
HeyWhatsThat (www.heywhatsthat.com) was also part of our initial launch on iPhone. This widget gives a panoramic view of surrounding mountain peaks, allowing the user to identify and get information about the high points around them. The HeyWhatsThat widget also had a standard handset version built on WHERE which was 2nd runner up at the NAVTEQ LBS Challenge.
The Quiblo widget allows users to take polls and see results breakdown by location. It was developed by the same folks who brought us www.quiblo.com.
